Why do I need to link wallets?

Linking your Solana wallet to an EVM address allows you to: claim tokens on Base, receive airdrops, and maintain a consistent identity across chains.

Is this secure?

Yes. You prove ownership of your Solana wallet by signing a message. The signature is verified server-side using cryptographic verification. No blockchain transaction is made, and no fees are charged.

Can I change my linked EVM address?

Yes. Simply enter a new EVM address and sign again with your Solana wallet. The new link will replace the old one.

Why don't you verify EVM wallet ownership?

For simplicity, we only require a Solana signature. This means you must double-check your EVM address is correct — there is no verification that you control it. This approach is intentional and allows easier linking from mobile wallets.
